INCOMING FRESHMAN

1. Watch THIS VIDEO (ALL of it)!

2. Download the Course Selection Contract from the link below and save it to your desktop as your last name, first name.

3. Use the information that was presented in the Panther Preview video and outlined in the COURSE PROFILES  and then complete the Course Selection Contract (save the file as your last name, first name). After you have confirmed that the information you entered saved, email the file to your alpha counselor (email addresses below):

4. After your counselor receives your Course Selection Contract, he or she will be scheduled to meet with you via a Zoom meeting to answer any questions you may have and to enter the courses you have chosen. If you attend a CVUSD middle school, you can find your assigned meeting time on your Canvas Course Registration card.  Please make SURE that you have completed the Contract BEFORE you meet with your counselor! Your counselor will not be able to choose your electives or your alternates for you (so please research courses before you select them).

IF YOU ARE A STUDENT WHO IS COMING FROM OUTSIDE THE DISTRICT, THE REGISTRAR WILL ARRANGE YOUR MEETING WITH A COUNSELOR AFTER SHE OFFICIALLY ENROLLS YOU AND AFTER YOU COMPLETE STEPS 1 THROUGH 3.
